HD 4000 HDMI video-only flicker after Windows 8 upgrade

I have the i7-3770K with 3 displays. But currently not all running at the same time. I have 2 monitors that I normally run. VGA and DVI-D. 4x4GB RAM. No GPU card. Only using the HD 4000 for now.

The 3rd display is a 1080p TV via HDMI. When I want to watch a movie or hulu or something, I disable my VGA display and enable the HDMI TV. When I was using Windows 7 x64, I never had any issues. But I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 x64. And now occasionally the HDMI display will flicker black and come right back. It's very fast for me and the HDMI audio doesn't ever get interrupted.

I have since upgraded the HD 4000 drivers straight from Intel. Same issue. I haven't tested removing all be one Ram module. Just annoying that it was working in windows 7 x64 with no issues and now it's having issues in Windows 8.

I built the system almost a year ago and have been using this 3 display setup for at least 6 months. I just upgrade to Windows 8 x64, about 3 weeks ago. The only change has been upgrading to Windows 8. All the same hardware. BIOS version is the latest stable from Gigabyte.
