Intel WiDi 3.5.40.0 on windows 7 64-bit keeps asking for security code and is unstable

Intel Widi 3.5.40 on windows 7 64-bit keeps asking for security code everytime I try to connect. In fact, a dialog box even open up withing the intel my wifi technology dashboard so you could enter the code in 2 places.  but even after connecting, it never remembers the device and keeps asking for it everytime.

3.1.29 works perfectly.
