Brightness settings are ignored.

Driver: 15.28.0.64.2792 (9.17.10.2792) 64bit

After installing the update and restarting my PC, the screen is at full brightness. Changing power settings, the brightness slider in the control panel, or the brightness setting in the Charms bar, it always remains at full brightness. While this may be ignorable in a desktop environment, for mobile platforms it's a big drawback. Anyone know of a fix? If not, I hope it is fixed in a future version, until them I am going to continue using an older driver (9.17.10.2736).
