Hi, I have a problem connecting to an adapter D-Link Mainstage DHD-131 with my Asus UX32VD.
I have upgraded to Windows 8 (64bit), reinstalled all drivers completely new and according to the intel driver update page, all drivers are up to date.
When I start Intel WiDi application, the Adapter is shown as not connected before, the Signal strength is high. SO no Problem up to now.
When I now try to connect to the D-Link DHD-131 after some seconds a message appears, that the Connection failed and I should restart Adapter and Notebook.
But nothing helps.
So during the Connection try the WiFi Connection to my Fritzbox is stopped, also the LED on the D-Link flashes.
I have enabled Intel WiDi application in the Firewall for both private and public Networks.
What else can be the Problem?
(I never ever had a WiDi Connection before, unfortunately no second Adapter or second Notebook available.)
Thanks for your help,
bye,
Thomas
