I am able to connect just fine to a Netgear Push 2 TV Adapter (PTV1000). This is connected via HDMI to a 1080P TV. The display looks fine. However, I am unable to get the resolution any higher than 1366x768. This is what it defaults to and it will not allow me to go above this option. I know my TV supports 1920. I am able to directly connect an HDMI and the TV will display at 1920x1080, but not through the WIDI. This is obviously very annoying. The only reason I bought the adapter was to watch movies and tv shows in 1080P without having to move my laptop and plug it in directly. Any ideas? I am running Windows 7. I also have switchable graphics, but its obviously on the Intel Display driver when I open up the Intel WIDI software.
