Hello,
I have an Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6230 wireless/bluetooth adapter. I also happen to have a small plethora of bluetooth devices that I would like to use with the laptop. I have used the Intel Driver Update utility on the website to check, confirm, and upgrade all of the parts of my laptop to their latest drivers. I have confirmed that under Device Manager > Network Adapters > Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6230 > Properties > Advanced Tab I see the Bluetooth(R) AMP and that it is set to Enabled. Finally, I have also confirmed that if I go to the Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > The appropriate wireless connection (using the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6230) > Properties... I see that the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) + High Speed Protocol is there and checked.
But I have nothing that actually prompts for bluetooth connectivity, and nothing that i can run to search for bluetooth devices.
So... How do I actually get bluetooth to work? The Intel site says everything is up to date at this point. I'm not sure what the next step is
