(Sorry for my poor English.)
At first,it should be notedthat this is notdue tooverheatingoroverclocking, testedin different ways.
Playingsome gameson theHD4000, i seea lot ofthe annoyingwhite dotson the screen (a "clone"computer - but nvidia video - has nosuch effect).
Searchingthe forumshas shown that thisis relatedto the processing ofshadows, transparent texturesor alphatextures, or merging the edges of certain textures (andso on) by video driver.
I seea lot ofsuch linear or random white dots in Metro 2033 (anywhere), GTA IV (linear оn textures edges and random on vegetation textures), STALKER (in shadows),I canmakescreenshots ifnecessary .
HD4000' performance (especiallyoverclocked) would be enough for manypurposes, if not for those pesky artifacts... Is this a driver bug?
Thanks for theclarification.
